Published this piece on my Weightloss blog but since a lot of you are encouraging me on this blog in my fight to lose weight and become more healthy, and indeed have similar battles going oj yourselves. I thought I would reblog it here also 🙂

We do have ice cream trucks in the States — at least in my town — but I’ve always been too embarrassed as an adult to go out to them. I talked to one lady at a convenience store one day where I was buying some ice cream treats you can only buy in those places (not in the grocery stores) and she was telling me how much her husband loved what I was buying and how he loved the ice cream trucks. She said he was the only adult in their neighborhood that would run outside with his money when the truck came down their street. She went on to tell an amusing story about how he was late one time and chased the truck down, running behind it all the way, shouting and waving his money until he got the truck driver’s attention!! I couldn’t help but laugh because I thought of how many times I’d would love to do that and only my embarrassment at being the only (fat) adult outside has stopped me!! So I buy my ice cream at the store instead!! 😀
Good for you for coming up with an alternate dessert!!! Since I have a weakness for ice cream, I am extremely proud of you for doing this!!
God bless your continued efforts in this area of your life and make you successful in each and every aspect of it!!!
